Tweak says, "bigfoot goes "WHOOP!""

Harry was annoyed.

Not your usual kind of annoyance, mind you. He was absolutely, thoroughly, completely pissed.

He was in the Order of the Phoenix –‘More like the Fried-chicken Order’ he thought with a derisive snort- Headquarters, and the Headmaster was ranting about some thing or another, all the while staring at him with a concerned –‘concerned, my ass’- twinkle in his pale blue eyes.

He couldn’t take it anymore. All that crap about him being “The Saviour”, “The One”…for God’s sake, Trelawney had been the one to make the prophecy! The probabilities of it coming true were from nonexistent to negative!

He abruptly stood up, startling the whole Order.

- Sorry about interrupting, but I thought I’d rather tell you I’m going so you don’t have to search for me and all that stuff.-he said in a deceivingly cheerful voice, waving to the Headmaster as he walked towards the door.

-What? Harry, you can’t leave, it’s dangerous! Where are you going?

-I was thinking about Hawaii. How does it sound? Or maybe I should try Aruba…they have a pretty big wizard population, if I’m not mistaken.

-But Harry, you have to stay, we are in the middle of a war! You have to fight Voldemort, you know you are the only one who can defeat him! It’s you destiny!

Harry dropped the cheerful pretension and gazed coldly at the Headmaster.

-Destiny –he snarled- is just a little word humans invented. I am not destined to become a murderer; I might become one or not, but either way it’ll be my decision. You use your oh-so-called destiny to force people to follow you, to do your dirty work, to grovel at your all-mighty feet.-he spat.- I believe not in destiny, nor do I believe in prophecies or fates. There’s no meaning in life except life itself. Fate, Greater Good, Balance…those are just stupid lies made up by a long line of wizards who couldn’t use their logic to save their lives, and who couldn’t stand to see the harsh reality of this striking savage jungle we live in. Ever read Darwin? –he asked disdainfully- Only those powerful enough, strong enough, will last. Beauty is born and perishes without a spare thought. Tenderness, innocence –he continued, in a mocking voice- matter little when you live in this cruel, indifferent, cold, meaningless constant fight you call life. Survival is the only objective, and cunning, power and strength, the only ways to reach it. Not destiny, not fates, not a Greater Good, Dumbledore. Survival.-he said reverently, his lips curled in a feral smile.

-Harry, you know of the prophecy, you’ve known it all along.-he pleaded- Even Voldemort believes it! Don’t you think that that means something?
